If you have a self hosted WordPress blog which is nice and a lot of visitors, most likely the blog content will be copy and paste (copy and paste) the other person.
They take your posts complete with pictures, and then publish it on their blog. Without shame and without mercy.
Maybe in their mind like this: Ã ¢ Å "Good made posts. I Copy am with the drawing. And so, I do not bother writing posts and searching images. He he he..Ã ¢ â,¬

When posting them (whose image comes from your post) is accessed, it takes a picture of your hosting bandwidth. Of course you bite the finger that unused bandwidth without getting extra visitors.
As an illustration, below is one of my blog posts stubs employees, DuniaKaryawan.com (Dukar), which is taken by others complete with pictures.
How to protect your blog from the thief this bandwidth?
Easy, using Hotlink Protection in cPanel hosting. Below is a step by step to do so.
1. Log into the cPanel of hosting you are using.
2. See the Security section and click Hotlink Protection feature.
3. Enter the URL of your blog that you want to protect. In my example, I enter a URL with www and without www.
4. If you do not want to add another file type, let the pieces Block direct access for following extensions (comma-separeted).
Likewise with the box Allow direct requests.
5. Click the Submit button
6. You will see a notification activation of Hotlink Protection.
When you activate Hotlink Protection, your pictures on the blog so that others will be lost bandwidth are not stolen.
